BACK TO ROUTINE

Healthy habits after summer

September is around the corner. Getting back into a routine can be an arduous task both physically and emotionally, although this is not always the case. Calm down! We can turn that effort into a motivating challenge if we focus on having healthy habits that help us feel good. Read this article until the end if you need advice on getting back to your routine with a healthy diet that will help you lose weight after the excesses of summer.

What to do after the sedentary lifestyle and excesses of summer?

First of all, there is something that you must be very clear about: little by little. Rome wasn't built in 2 days... and setting unattainable goals can be very frustrating. Furthermore, in some cases, the extra pounds we gain in summer are due to the fluid retention that our body suffers at this time of year. In this case, with the return to work and routine, the drop in temperatures with the change of season and, in general, the hustle and bustle of everyday life, your body will feel more deflated.

However, you cannot sit idly by: to have healthy habits that last over time you have to be very constant and make the occasional “sacrifice”, and we quote it because with our products and according to our customers, eating healthy with Impossible Bakers is no sacrifice.

Once you have raised awareness to change the bad habits you carry over from the summer, you have forgiven yourself for that (a very important part) and you are determined to acquire new healthy habits, you can now set a date to enter ketosis. We propose September 1st. Without excuses. Without “I better start on Monday the 5th…”. The sooner you start, the sooner you will feel good about yourself. Whether you have already heard about ketosis or not, what we are going to explain to you below may interest you if you want to lose some weight and, above all, regain energy, agility and well-being.

The most effective way to improve your quality of life.

If you have heard about the Keto diet, but don't know how to carry it out, we recommend that you inform yourself well accompanied by an expert. In our article “Our favorite books” you can find books that will be very useful during the process of acquiring healthy habits.

Any of the books that we recommend will serve as a manual, but, until they reach you, we summarize the process you are going to go through:

  1. Intermittent fasts of minimum 12 hours to 16 ideally
  2. Reducing the number of meals per day
  3. Reducing sugar and carbohydrate intake
  4. Physical exercise (adapted to your abilities) on an empty stomach
  5. Stress reduction
  6. Sleep of at least 7 hours a day
  7. Drink plenty of water and electrolytes

With these tips in a few days (depending on your metabolism between 1 and 7 days) you will enter ketosis: a metabolic state in which the body uses accumulated fat as fuel. The result is healthy and effective weight loss, ideal for our body to recover its optimal state after a summer of excess.

Keep in mind that the process is part of the grace: there are times when it will seem very simple to you, there are times when it will be difficult, but if you live it as a challenge and take advantage of the information you have at your disposal and you get healthy and delicious products like ours, we can assure you that you will be amazed by how incredibly good you feel in a very short time.
